Floral water decal nails

Another water decal nail art! These floral water decals are cute and vintage feel and they are super easy to apply.

Cut out your desired decal and place it in water for about 10 secs. Remove it from the water and gently move the decal and it shall move about. Pick it with a tweezers and place it on your nail! Be creative as to how you place them on your nails! Finish with a fast drying top coat.

I used by "That's what i mint!" by  Essence and by "Celeb City" by Sally Hansen for this manicure.

You can get this nail decal and other pretty nail products at bornprettystore.com. Use coupon code "LVX31" for 10% off your total bill!

Sweet pink nails with leopard prints

A very simple and sweet manicure. The baby pink polish is by Kiko (doesn't have a name) and the silver is Celeb City by Sally Hansen. I topped it off with China Glaze's Fairy Dust.

Black & Pink stripes

A simple and cute nail art design - black & pink stripes! I think this combo has a vintage feel to it! The pink is China Glaze's Something Sweet and I hand painted the black stripes! Then I used Sally Hansen's Celeb City on the curves. The base glittery polish is by Nature Republic.

Catrice Petropolitan

I'm in loved with this gorgeous deep green from Catrice! I love minty greens and I hardly put on dark greens but this!!! I love!!! It has tiny blue-ish sparkles in ot which makes it so pretty! Two coats with no top coat.

Then I added gold chevron tips using Sally Hansen "Golden-I". Total match! :)

Hello Kitty Nails

Hello Kitty is one of my favourite cartoon character of all time. Who can resist this cute kitty? Though in real life I'm more of a dog person. =D Anyways, I've been wanting to do a Hello Kitty nail for ages but the "feel" just didn't kick in (if you know what I mean). Finally the "feel" came and I did it! It's kinda tough drawing the kitty to make her look real and not distorted (especially the eyes!). I also painted the bow and some cherries!

I used Essie "Fiji" as the base colour and OPI "Girls Just Want To Play" for the red. The rest are acrylic paints.

Neon & Glitter

I think it's super cool to pair glitter polish with neons! Here I used Sally Hansen 'Celeb City' with China Glaze 'Flip Flop Fantasy'. I hand painted the black stripes at the french tip and used black striping tape for the chevrons. Striping tapes make everything look neater and polished, and it doesn't require steady hands!

Watercolour nails

I can say this is by far my favourite mani! Its simple, cool and sophisticated! It looks difficult to do but its really simple! First, I paint my nails with Sally Hansen 'Celeb City' (glittery silver) then i start to dab blue, purple and white randomly on the nails. Top it off with sparkly glitter like China Glaze 'Fairy Dust' and top it off with a fast drying top coat (I used Poshe). You can add rhinestones to glam them up! That's it!

I used Sinful Colors 'Skinny Dipping', 'Pragmatic' and a normal white polish.

Feather nails

This feather mani was nspired by bdettenails on instagram. I always thought feather nails can be a little tricky but they turned out to be really easy and fast! I just use a nail art brush and gently brush on black & white in curves with pointed ends and that's it!

I used P2 'Fresh Sister' and Sally Hansen 'Celeb City' as my accent nail.

When cotton candy meets black & gold......

Black & gold have always been a very nice combo but how about adding them to something more subtle like a light coral/salmon colour? YES!!!

I used "Cotton Candy" from Orly, a black polish from The Faceshop and "Golden-I" from Sally Hansen. Decided to go with a black accent on the ring finger outlined with gold colour to make the mani more outstanding!

Green & Blue Dots & Stripes

A very simple nail art with contrasting colours. I used GR701 from Etude House ice cream collection, "Shopping Day at Bloomingdales" by Catrice and "Celeb City" by Sally Hansen.

Sugar Skull Nails

Sugar skull nails are so cute! They made the usual scary and cold skulls into something more fun and colourful! And I used fimo canes as my sugar skull eyes (inspired by @nailedbyjasmine on IG). Such a great idea isn't it? My base colour is "Unicorn" by Sinful Colors, the silver is "Celeb City" by Sally Hansen.

Red checkered Nails

Did this red checkered nails to match my shirt and also for Day 10 of #nailartmay which is to match OOTD.

I used Sally Hansen Cherry Red, Etude House PK001 and the white is from Arezia (got this at SaSa). I hand paint on the checks and used a blue striping tape for the lines.

This is also great as picnic nails cuz it does look like the table cloth! Just skip the blue striping tape step!

Silver & Gold Gradient/Ombre Nails

I love this silver & gold ombre nails! It's weird how I never thought of putting these two colours together for ombre! I think this manicure is so glam and totally suits prom, wedding and even Christmas! And it' really easy to do! I also added some gold hex glitters to the tips to make the gold underneath more obvious.

I used Sally Hansen "Celeb City" and "Golden-I" for the ombre and top the tips with Nature Republic gold glitter polish in SYL701.

Mint & White

This manicure was actually kinda inspired by my fluffy socks! There are mint, pink and white on the socks. I think the colour combinations are so pretty so I have to do them on my nails.
I added gold dots on my middle & ring finger and it somewhat reminds me of Christmas ornaments! LOL.

I used "Mint Menthe" by Love & Beauty (by Forever 21), white polish from a brand called Arezia, "Something Sweet" by China Glaze and "Goden-I" by Sally Hansen to create this look.

Neon Chevron

You can tell I'm loving this colour! The base colour is China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy which is a bright neon coral. I added black chevron with silver stripes, Celeb City by Sally Hansen. Had a hard time photographing these! This is actually a very easy and simple nailart. You can use scotch tape or striping tapes to help you achieve cleaner chevron lines.

Tape Mani

It's so fun creating manicures using striping tapes! There are many types of tape mani around and I can't wait to try them out. I painted my nails four vertical stripes of different colours then I place the striping tape over them once they are dry and paint over another colour. After that, peel of the tape! That's it! You can definitely create many different lines or patterns instead of the three stripes that I did.

Here's the nail polishes I used :
Base stripes -  Faceshop GR502, OPI Dim Sum Plum, Faceshop BL602 & Essence Destination Sunshine
Top colours - Nature Republic BK004 & Sally Hansen Celeb City

Black & Blue Argyle

I really like this Argyle pattern nailart! They kinda reminded me of socks and sweaters. It was pretty time consuming to do having to make sure the checks are even.  Anyway, I used both Faceshop nail polishes in BK901 and BL602, and Sally Hansen Celeb City for the stripes.

St. Patrick's Day Nails

It's St. Patrick's Day today! This day is celebrated mostly by the Irish hence the Ireland flag! You can't miss out shamrock on this day too!

This is what I used:
Flag - OPI Mermaid's Tears, China Glaze White on White and China Glaze Papaya Punch.
Index & Pinky - Essence Exits on Your Right (chevron tip), OPI Mermaid's Tears (Shamrock), Sally Hansen Golden-I and China Glaze Fairy Dust.
