Simple lace nails

Lace nails are pretty but sometimes they can be difficult to do. Here's is a simple way of doing lace nails. Just  paint the tip black and make 3 curves using your nailart brush or dotting tool and dot on tiny dots above them! That's it!

I used OPI "Dim Sum Plum" and The Faceshop "BK901".

4th of July nails

Although 4th of July has nothing to do with Singapore but it's so popular on instagram that I had to do my version! Instead of stars (which can be difficult to draw), I put polka dots and not forgetting the red & white stripes!

I used Catrice 'Shopping Day at Bloomingdales' and OPI 'Girls Just Want To Play'.

Bikini Inspired Nails

I saw this beautiful bikini while reading my magazine and was totally inspired by it! I had to do them right away! It was really easy to do and I'm pretty happy with the results. :) Love this picture of my nails posing with the model. It makes the mani a lot more sense!

I use a black acrylic paint for the lines over white polish and the yellow is "Destination Sunshine" by Essence.

Despicable Me Nails

Despicable Me 2 is coming to theaters soon so here's my take on the super duper cute minion nails! Makes me happy just by looking at them! I felt like there's gonna be so much attention on my nails! =D

I use a random yellow polish from Elianto and the blue is 'Via Airmail' by Essence. The minions are painted using acrylic paint and grey & white nail polishes.

Sailor Nails

Love this blue polish from Catrice called "Shopping Day at Bloomingdales"! Decided to go with stripes, dots & studs for this mani and it turned out a little of sailor inspired nails!

Dots & Holo

A very simple mani playing with my dotting tool. I used Color Club "Cosmic Fate" and China Glaze "Below Deck". Love how the holo dots contrast with "Below Deck" !

Green & Blue Dots & Stripes

A very simple nail art with contrasting colours. I used GR701 from Etude House ice cream collection, "Shopping Day at Bloomingdales" by Catrice and "Celeb City" by Sally Hansen.

Polka Dots Nail

Ditch the classic one colour polka dots and go with colourful dots! It makes the nails look more fun and vibrant! I used Etude House #OR202 from the ice cream collection as my base colour. Use your favorite colours for the polka dots! I used mostly pastel colours - blue, pink, purple & green.

Strawberry nails

I tried to make my strawberry nails a bit different from the normal red ones so I go with cutesy pink! And instead of small vertical stripes I put dots to make them look even cuter! This lovely pink is from the Etude House ice cream collection in PK001.

Lace Nails

OMG I super love love this manicure!!! This design was inspired by @xxpinky_bubblesxx who was inspired by @ra_dina on Instagram! I had to do mine and all sweet and girly. =)
I used OPI Suzi's Hungary Again & Essie French Affair.

This design was also for the #bestietwinnails tag with @punkspolish ! Love this girl! ❤

Retro waves nails

This retro waves nailart was inspired by @lucysstash's nails I saw on instagram many weeks ago. When I saw them I knew I gotta do my version of it! So after much procastination, here's my take on this retro nails.

I used Essence "Hot Fruit Punch" (from the Home Sweet Home collection) as my base colour, Essence " Absolutely Blue" and China Glaze "Something Sweet".

Mint & White

This manicure was actually kinda inspired by my fluffy socks! There are mint, pink and white on the socks. I think the colour combinations are so pretty so I have to do them on my nails.
I added gold dots on my middle & ring finger and it somewhat reminds me of Christmas ornaments! LOL.

I used "Mint Menthe" by Love & Beauty (by Forever 21), white polish from a brand called Arezia, "Something Sweet" by China Glaze and "Goden-I" by Sally Hansen to create this look.

Braided Nails

Braided nails has been an on-going trend. It's easy to do and looks cool! Instead of doing all four nails with braids (I felt it was a little too much), I decided to do the braid as an accent nail. I really like the colour combo! I used OPI Your Royal Shine-ness as my base colour, OPI Suzi's Hungary Again! and Faceshop PP409 for the alternating braids. The Faceshop colour is actually a pearl base purple but it appears a little more to blue in the photos.

Rilakkuma Nails

I attempted to do Rilakkuma nails for the first time. Rilakkuma is a popular bear character from Japan. Well, I have to say it's a fail. :( My Rilakkuma doesn't look like one at all! But at least, it looked like a bear (I hope). Anyway I think its still pretty cute. =D

I used Essence Destination Sunshine as the base colour and painted the bear with acrylic paints.

Vintage roses

It's vintage again! Who don't love vintage nails?! :D Anyway, this is for day 19 of #nailartmar challenge. I've been drawing my roses this way nowadays and I quite like it!

I used OPI Pink Friday as my base colour.

Luck Nails

So today's challenge is Luck. When I think of luck, I think of four leave clover. So here's my four leave clover nailart. I used Essence Exits on Your Right as my base colour and Face Shop GR502 for the clover and polka dots. Have a lucky day!

Peachy

It's really challenging trying to draw perfect straight lines (mine is far from perfect!) but it's still fun!
