These are some pictures of my clients who came to me for Minion nails! Some even came all the way from North! Well, that's love for minions!

Vertical chevron nails

It's chevron nails again! This time I did vertical chevrons instead of horizontal ones which I think is pretty cool too! I cut little chevron stripes using a patterned art scissor and sticker labels. Labels work better than scotch tape cuz its easier to cut.

I used China Glaze "For Audrey", Essence "L.O.L" and OPI "Designer... De Better" for this mani.

Hello Kitty Nails

Hello Kitty is one of my favourite cartoon character of all time. Who can resist this cute kitty? Though in real life I'm more of a dog person. =D Anyways, I've been wanting to do a Hello Kitty nail for ages but the "feel" just didn't kick in (if you know what I mean). Finally the "feel" came and I did it! It's kinda tough drawing the kitty to make her look real and not distorted (especially the eyes!). I also painted the bow and some cherries!

I used Essie "Fiji" as the base colour and OPI "Girls Just Want To Play" for the red. The rest are acrylic paints.

Simple lace nails

Lace nails are pretty but sometimes they can be difficult to do. Here's is a simple way of doing lace nails. Just  paint the tip black and make 3 curves using your nailart brush or dotting tool and dot on tiny dots above them! That's it!

I used OPI "Dim Sum Plum" and The Faceshop "BK901".

Neon & Glitter

I think it's super cool to pair glitter polish with neons! Here I used Sally Hansen 'Celeb City' with China Glaze 'Flip Flop Fantasy'. I hand painted the black stripes at the french tip and used black striping tape for the chevrons. Striping tapes make everything look neater and polished, and it doesn't require steady hands!

Watercolour nails

I can say this is by far my favourite mani! Its simple, cool and sophisticated! It looks difficult to do but its really simple! First, I paint my nails with Sally Hansen 'Celeb City' (glittery silver) then i start to dab blue, purple and white randomly on the nails. Top it off with sparkly glitter like China Glaze 'Fairy Dust' and top it off with a fast drying top coat (I used Poshe). You can add rhinestones to glam them up! That's it!

I used Sinful Colors 'Skinny Dipping', 'Pragmatic' and a normal white polish.

Ombre Net Nails

In love with this mani! I used Essie 'Fiji' and Essence 'Absolutely Blue' for the ombre/gradient and top it off with China Glaze 'Fairy Dust'. Use striping tape to make the net pattern before you sponge the colours on and remove them when you're done! Super easy!

I added small pearls to make them look even daintier!

Feather nails

This feather mani was nspired by bdettenails on instagram. I always thought feather nails can be a little tricky but they turned out to be really easy and fast! I just use a nail art brush and gently brush on black & white in curves with pointed ends and that's it!

I used P2 'Fresh Sister' and Sally Hansen 'Celeb City' as my accent nail.

4th of July nails

Although 4th of July has nothing to do with Singapore but it's so popular on instagram that I had to do my version! Instead of stars (which can be difficult to draw), I put polka dots and not forgetting the red & white stripes!

I used Catrice 'Shopping Day at Bloomingdales' and OPI 'Girls Just Want To Play'.

Army Nails

1st July is Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Day (also known as Army Day) so I did an army uniform inspired mani! It's easy to do and the only tool I used is dotting tool!

PS: Sorry for the reflections from my light!
The colours I used are Kiko '347' (dark green), Love & Beauty 'Mint Menthe' (light green), OPI 'Over The Taupe' and The Faceshop 'BK901' (black).
